Elyssa Lehman Joins TRINDGROUP as Public Relations Intern

TRINDGROUP has recently welcomed Elyssa Lehman as one of its newest public relations interns. Elyssa has begun her senior year at Auburn University and will be graduating in May 2024 with a degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. As a TRINDGROUP intern, Elyssa will spend her time sharpening her writing skills, enhancing her knowledge about social media content strategies, analyzing data and more.

Elyssa began her freshman year as a communication major but was unsure of an exact career path that interested her. During her short time as a communication student, Elyssa was enrolled in a course where she learned about all the majors Auburn’s School of Communication and Journalism offers. “When I learned about public relations, it was the first time I could picture myself in a career,” said Elyssa.

During her junior year, Elyssa served as account social media manager and account manager for The Oaks Agency, Auburn University’s on-campus public relations firm. This is where she first learned of TRINDGROUP’s internship opportunities. Elyssa applied hoping to further her knowledge and experience in the field. “I knew having the opportunity to work in person with a successful public relations agency like TRINDGROUP would allow me to enhance and expand my skills while preparing me for my career post-graduation,” she said.

Other than being a great intern, in her free time, Elyssa enjoys watching movies and hanging out with her friends. She is an avid reader; her favorite book is “Verity” by Colleen Hoover. Elyssa also enjoys attending workout classes and listening to music, specifically anything Taylor Swift.
