Intern Highlight: Say Hello to Shilah
TRINDGROUP recently welcomed Shilah Conn, our newest Public Relations and Marketing Intern, to our team. Shilah is pursuing a degree in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing and is eager to gain more agency experience before graduating from Auburn University in May. During her internship, Shilah is gaining valuable agency experience to prepare her for entering the workforce post-graduation.
As a Public Relations and Marketing Intern, Shilah is responsible for writing and editing blogs, creating social media content and conducting market research and analysis.
Shilah has previous experience as a Public Relations intern for a boutique agency located in North Carolina. She also held a marketing and communication internship with Auburn International Programs and served as an Account Manager at the Oak’s Agency, where she oversaw three client accounts.
“I have always been drawn to public relations because I value the efforts behind building and maintaining lasting relationships. I enjoy the creativity and versatility offered in the field of public relations. After I graduate, I hope to work for a large-scale agency with international offices where I can apply the valuable skills I learned in my internship.”
When Shilah is not in the office, she can be found binge-watching her favorite TV show, The 100, exploring new places with her identical twin sister and attending the concerts of her favorite artists. As a first-generation college student, Shilah values hard work. Since beginning her internship, Shilah has proven her strong work ethic and reliability. We are thrilled to have her work with the TRINDGROUP team this semester!
